After local dealer "didn't find anything" wrong with my car, I stopped in at Happy Wallet Auto Repair. A 100 yd drive with owner Jim was all it took for him to say "brake problem". Although garage was very busy, they were able to fit me in. They showed me the rear brakes which were down to metal-on-metal. In less than 2 hrs I was on my way. I am now confident I can safely drive back home in a couple of weeks. Thanks Jim
