Fixed the problem ! Gave an estimate that was $500 less than it turned out to be. They did not disclose that it would be $500 more before doing the work and then would not release the vehicle until it was paid. It was shady and underhanded. The work was done correctly but I would not trust this place moving forward.
I am sorry this happen to you by the previous owner's crew, Happy Wallet Quality Auto Repair is under new management as of the middle of January and we are working with a new but very experience team of technicians, they now have to follow standard operating procedures and uphold to excellence standards. After local dealer "didn't find anything" wrong with my car, I stopped in at Happy Wallet Auto Repair. A 100 yd drive with owner Jim was all it took for him to say "brake problem". Although garage was very busy, they were able to fit me in. They showed me the rear brakes which were down to metal-on-metal. In less than 2 hrs I was on my way. I am now confident I can safely drive back home in a couple of weeks. Thanks Jim
