Went in for a noise after having new tires put. They informed me that I had some missing lug nuts and a stripped one. When I went to pick up my car the told me it will $49 bucks. I asked what was done and they told me that added two lug nuts that were missing but did not replace the stripped lug nut because they would have to remove my brakes in order to replace stud. I will not be returning because I feel that after leaving my car for a day and to be charged just to brake a stud and replace two lug nuts is not what I think is $50 of labor when the stud wasn't never replace

Anthony, I left a voice message for you requesting a call back to discuss your concerns. I would appreciate the opportunity to clarify as I believe there is a misunderstanding. You approved the cost prior to our performing the work to break the stripped lug nuts, even though we suggested you go back to the tire store who put on your tires this past weekend as they most likely stripped/cross-threaded one of the lug nuts. It was after the time involved doing that labor operation that we found the wheel studs to be defective/broken. The $49 charge was not to break a stud. It was to break the stripped/cross-threaded lug nuts and we included the replacement plus missing lug nuts for free. Because our safety inspection revealed you were going to need front brakes very soon, we recommended you do the brakes as the cost to remove and install a new wheel stud involves removing the brake pad and rotor. We suggested you consider doing the front brakes to save on labor costs. We have an estimate with a customer satisfaction discount ready to email to you.
